The War so far

10% of global oil production embargoed by the Western Alliance, being diverted to China and India at a discount. 30% of global wheat production stalled, new crop won't be planted this year. Iran is close to testing a fission bomb. North Korea testing ICBMs. Frackers in U.S. working overtime, burning out their big rig drivers. Long haul owner operators going broke, costs $1000 to fill their diesel tanks, delays at warehouses, drivers nearing retirement age have untreated health problems. U.S. residential real estate cooling on rapidly rising mortgage rates. Russia is nearing a crisis, thousands of body bags sent home or hidden. Purge of FSB. Rumor of child abductions and concentration camps. Russian generals and field commanders killed by snipers. Ultimatum to surrender was refused. Missiles and naval guns fired from Black Sea fleet. Panic buying at stores in Moscow. Hard to estimate how many old people, children, and conscripts were killed, wounded, or frostbit — 50,000 military and civilian casualties so far? Health care in besieged cities and on the battlefield in disarray, short of supplies. Starvation and dehydration will kill trapped civilians, thousands buried in urban rubble or hiding in basements, no food, no heat, no running water, putrid toilets. When Russian troops attack city neighborhoods, they loot anything of value, take hostages, rape and torture for revenge and sick amusement. War kills people and breaks things.
